Take a Step Tutoring is an in-person and online Tutoring Service created by a licensed teacher of over 8 years. Rachel Cain loves education and the joy of supporting student needs. She believes that education should fit the child - and not the other way around.

Tutoring Approach

Licensed Teaching
Rachel holds a Teaching License in Georgia and Tennessee. She has taught grades 6-12 in person and in online settings. She is up-to-date on all the latest curriculum and classroom techniques avaliable.

Holistic
Far from just a review over homework, Rachel views tutoring as a classroom of one. Each student will receive sessions crafted using the most up-to-date methods. This would include curriculum not yet covered and differentiated instruction - anything to aid student growth.

Communication
Parents will be updated after each session. Questions and inquries will be responded to within 48 hours. Rachel sees teaching as a partnership with families; open communication is key!
